Wedding Day

Our Wedding

We met on a dating website in May 2020 and after Jim's first video interview, we hit it off—our first date followed soon after. From that first conversation we found a shared love of God, travel, charcuterie boards, fun coffee shops, and the small moments kept adding up into something we couldn’t wait to celebrate. We’re excited to gather family and friends in Jacksonville on December 19, 2026 to mark the next chapter together.

Wedding Party

We love theme parties and dressing up, so we’ve envisioned a 19th-century, Charles Dickens-inspired Christmas wedding! We encourage our guests to dress in Victorian or Regency-era attire in accordance with our holiday vision. You can choose to dress anywhere from full historical immersion or simply accessorize a formal outfit with accessories. Please see below and our website for more information. Please note: Your presence is what is most important to us. If you prefer not to dress in period attire, traditional formal evening wear is absolutely welcome.

Modern Regency-inspired formalA modern formal dress with a few romantic, old-fashioned details—like a square neckline, puff sleeves, a higher waist, and a flowing skirt. Rich colors such as burgundy, along with embroidery or a little sparkle, make the look festive and elegant without feeling like a costume.Burgundy Embroidered Square-Neck Dress - EtsyLink: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4541738497/vintage-cottagecore-midi-dress-forStyle: Modern Regency-inspired formal
